Mr. Green – Takes place in the UK – Druid’s Sword by Sara Douglass – Fantasy series that takes place from ancient England through WWII. Great Series
Col. Mustard – Takes place in the military – Trading In Danger by Elizabeth Moon – I don’t read a lot of military books so I went with Space Military. I love reading good Space Operas.
Mrs. Peacock – Patriotic book – Mornings On Horseback by David McCullough – This one is about Teddy Roosevelt’s life from birth till his first election.
Mrs. White – Character in service of a household – Longbourn by Jill Baker – Follows the characters that work for the Bennet family Pride and Prejudice.
Rooms
The Library – About books – Much Ado About You by Samantha Young – Vacation where main character works in a bookstore in England as part of living abroad experience.
The Kitchen – Culinary book – Check Please by Ngozi Ukazu- Graphic novel about a hockey player who loves to bake.
Conservatory – Plants, flowers or trees on cover – Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren – Contemporary Romance – One of my all time favorite covers.
Hall – Takes place in a mansion – Black Dagger Brotherhood – My favorite book is Lover Awakened – Paranormal Romance – Great vampire series set in upstate NY.
Weapons
Candlestick – Takes place before 1902 – Persuasion by Jane Austen – Classic – My favorite Austen
Gun – Mystery featuring a police officer – Fallen by Karin Slaughter – Thriller – Will Trent is one of my favorite characters ever, he is a special agent with the GBI.
Wrench – Skill trade worker – Beard in Mind by Penny Reid – Contemporary Romance – Both main characters are mechanics and Shelley is also a welder.
Dagger – Ritualistic murder takes place – Catch Me by Lisa Gardner – Mystery/Thriller
