Happy Friday! I hope everyone has had a good week so far! We finally got some cooler temperatures and snow this week so we are hoping that that helped slow down the wildfires we have here. Today I am participating in the Let’s Talk Bookish weekly meme, this is created and hosted by Rukky@EternityBooks and Dani@Literary Lion. This weeks theme is coming of age stories.
Did any coming of age story have a profound impact on you? – I can’t say that any did. I did read Number the Stars in 4th grade and that lead to my love of history and studying it in school.
What do you think the ingredients for a good coming of age story are? – I don’t read a lot of these so I am not sure, maybe good self discovery. Also not something too heavy.
How important is it to have diverse coming of age stories? – I would say very important, no two people are a like so everyone’s coming of age is very different. We need different perspectives to help us broaden our minds.
