Never Have I Ever…read a later book in a series before reading the first book

I actually do this one all the time. Last year I picked up The lAst Widow by Karin Slaughter not knowing it was #9 in the series. It was so good I have gone back and started the series from the beginning.

Never Have I Ever…read a book I knew I would hate

I feel like there are way too many books out there to read a book I know I am going to hate. I have decided I hated a book halfway through and continued it though and still hated it.

I haven’t done this one either but if I felt I could write well enough I would.

Never Have I Ever…loved a book when I was young, yet hated it when I got older

Nothing really comes to mind but I have kept off re-reading twilight because I don’t want this to happen.

Never Have I Ever…dressed up as one of my favorite literary characters

I don’t really like dressing up so I have not done this but my daughter wants to go as Hermione this year so does that count!

Never Have I Ever…hated a book by an author I love

I can’t say that I have ever hated a book by a favorite author, there are always some I don’t like as much but never hated. However, I hated a book by Colleen Hoover and I generally like her books but she is not a favorite author. Honestly I feel like this book is only one of a select few that I have ever hated.

Never Have I Ever…gone into a bookstore to buy one book and come out with many more

I feel like this happens almost every time I go into one! Bookstores are my happy place and spending money also makes me happy so the two usually get combined.

Never Have I Ever…read the ending of a book before reading the beginning

I do this every time I read a book. I know people do not understand this but my reasoning is that there are too many books on my tbr so why should I waste time on a book that has an ending I don’t like.

All the time! I find them to always get in my way so I take them off. Plus I don’t want them to get damaged.

Never Have I Ever…skim read nearly half a book

Unfortunately I have done this many times, in fact I just did this for a currant buddy read that I was not enjoying.

Never Have I Ever…not returned a book I borrowed from a friend

I always return books to my friends because I don’t like when my books don’t get returned to me.
