Hello Book friends!! How is everyone doing? I hope you are safe and healthy! I was talking on my instagram how I have been struggling to connect and stay focused on any book. I only read two books for this round up and one of them was a reread. Have you been able to read anything good during the social distancing?
Here are the two books I read for this round up!
This Is Not How It Ends by Rochelle B Weinstein – 3.5 Stars Its hard to talk about this book without spoilers but I am going to try! In this book we follow Charlotte who is in her 30’s and her relationship with her boyfriend Phillip. Phillip travels a lot while Charlotte stays at their place in Islamorada in the Keys. While she is alone she starts to realize that her and Phillip might want different things in life and questions their relationship. Im just going to say that while I love the writing from this author but Im not sure this one worked for me. It definitely made me feel all the things but one of the main plot points is something I really don’t like in books. I think if you can get over this detail then you might really like this one. The setting was fantastic and I wanted to be there so bad!! Florida Keys sound nice right about now.
Wolf Rain by Nalini Singh – 5 Stars This is one of my all time favorite series. Every time I read a book in this series its like returning to your best friends who you haven’t seen in forever. Each book focuses on a couple but you still get time with all the favorites from earlier books. In this book we follow senior soldier of the Snowdancer wolves, Alexie as he rescues a Psy named Memory. This was a reread for me and it was still so good. Its hard to talk about this book because its so far into the series but I highly recommend this series if you want a very in depth and amazing paranormal romance series!
