Hello Friends! I am here to day with my reading goals for 2023. I am going to keep them fairly simple again this year as I am now working and we also have a fair bit traveling this year. Plus all my kids activities also take up time, so here are my goals for 2023. They are pretty much the same as last years but I upped my backlist a little because my shelves need to be downsized.
Goodreads Goal – 125 books
I would like to make my backlist books a priority this year so my goal is 30. Backlist for me is anything on my shelf prior to 1/1/2023.
I would like to get my netgalley to 80%. I am currently at 71%
Kayla from Books and Lala is doing a buzzword challenge for every month next year. My goal is to read 1 book each month that fits that month’s word or theme. The buzzword can be in the title or on the cover.
- January – “Life” and “Death”
- February – Verbs
- March – “Secret”
- April – Emotions
- May – Flavors/seasonings/herbs
- June – “Other”
- July – Weather related words
- August – Body Parts
- September – Game related words (player, maze, cards, win, first)
- October – “Magic” and other related words
- November – “Good”
- December – Sound related words
