Hello Friends! How was everyone’s weekend? Mine was fun, we had a soccer game on Saturday and then Sunday was spent with friends ice skating and going out to eat. I didn’t get a ton of reading in this weekend but I did work on a few different blog posts so Im happy with that. Hope everyone has a great week!

Age of Deception by T.A. White – 5 Stars I don’t have a lot to add about this book other than it continues the story of Kira as she tries to adjust to her new surroundings.
Threshold of Annihilation by T.A. White – 5 Stars Same for book 3 in the series, it continues on with Kira and I still love all the action and romance that this series offers.
Kit McBride Gets A Wife by Amy Berry – 3 Stars Blog Tour post will be coming out later with my thoughts on this one. Thank you Berkley for my gifted copy!
Carrie Soto Is Back by Taylor Jenking Reid – 5 Stars This was only my second book by TJR, I have tried a few others by her only to have put them aside because they didn’t hold my attention. This one though was fantastic and I am not even a tennis fan! I loved the full cast audio narration and highly recommend going that way if you are able to. This story follows Carrie Soto as she rises to fame in Tennis and then comes out of retirement to try and win another Slam. I will say this book does deal with heavier topics at times and if you need content warnings than I would look into those. Thank you LibroFM for my gifted influencer copy.

The Godparent Trap by Rachel van Dyken – DNF not sure how far I was into this as I was listening to the audio from my library. This story just wasn’t working for me, I found it really sad and the characters were coming across as very immature.
Husband Material by Alexis Hall – DNF at 20%, I loved Boyfriend Material and all the other books that I have read by Alexis Hall, so I was really excited to pick this one up. Unfortunately it was just not working for me in my current reading state. I am a very moody reader and some books just don’t work in my current mood. This book starts off a couple of years after Boyfriend Material and I enjoyed seeing Oliver and Luc still together and with their friends but I could tell that this book was going to be a bit heavier than what I was wanting. I know I will eventually get back to this one when I am more in the mood for this kind of romance and I know Alexis will make me fall in love with these two characters even more! Thank you Sourcebooks Casablanca for my gifted copy for review.
Dark Horse by Michelle Diener – DNFat 36%, after loving the Firebird Chronicles by T.A. White I knew I wanted more space books but sadly this one just did not meet my expectations.
