Todays topic is Reviewing Books? (Rachel @ A Bookworm in Paradise)

What makes you want to review or not review a book? I try to review every book I read even if its just a general one.

Do you review every book you read? Yes! I do usually go more in depth for books that I have advanced copies of but I always at least put my overall thoughts on every book I read. I do this on my monthly reading round ups.

Are some books harder to review than others? Yes! Non-fiction is hard for me because the topics are so varied and because its hard to rate someones life when I am reviewing a memoir.

Do you review books you disliked? Yes because I think readers need to see all reviews of books not just good ones. I do try to always find positives in the books I review because I know someone worked really hard on the book and just because I didn’t like it doesn’t mean others won’t.

If you’ve ever written a ranty review, have you regretted doing so afterwards? I tend to wait awhile after reading to write my reviews.
