Hello Friends! I hope everyone had a great reading month in June! I am hoping to get to backlist books from my shelves and some ARC’s in July since it’s more of a relaxed reading month for me! What are you hoping to read this month?
For my back list books (which is any book I bought prior to January 1st 2022)
- The Lion’s Den by Katherine St. John – Going to take this one on vacation with me.
- Certain Dark Things by Silvia Moreno Garcia – Going to try and read this for Summerween!
- The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires by Grady Hendrix – Buzzword
- The Bookshop On The Corner by Jenny Colgan – Buzzword
ARC’s For July that I need to read.
- Bayou Sweetheart by Lexi Blake – Comes out 7/26
- Reckless Girls by Rachel Hawkins – Backlist 2022 ARC I want to get too.
- The Collective by Alison Gaylin – A backlist 2021 ARC that I never got to.
For Kayla’s Buzzword – This month’s buzzword is a bookish word.
- The Bookshop On The Corner by Jenny Colgan – This would also get one off of my backlist.
- Book Of Night by Holly Black – Got this from BOTM and want to give it a try.
- The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires by Grady Hendrix – Might take this one on vacation with me!

Readathons
I am going to participate in Summerween which runs from July 15th-21st. I will be putting up a separate post with all the details about this readathon in a few days!
