Top 5 Tuesday: September 21st

Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme created by Shanah @the Bionic Bookworm and is now being hosted by Meeghan @Meeghan Reads. This week’s topic is Top 5 series standalone books.

I meant to post this one yesterday but I was sick in bed all day and just binged BBC Period dramas all day but I really liked this top 5 so I decided to post it anyways!!

  • The Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata – Slow burn contemporary romance! All her books are great in my opinion.
  • Threshold by Sara Douglass – Fantasy that I have read so many times I can’t even tell you!
  • The Hating Game by Sally Thorne – Love this enemies to lovers work place romance with a sunshine and grump!
  • The Sun Down Motel by Simone St. James – Love this spooky paranormal thriller
  • The Good Sister by Sally Hepworth – One of my favorites of the year so far! Great thriller!

What are some of your favorite standalone books?

Hello and thank you for visiting my blog. My name is Becky and I am a Real Estate Agent/Stay At Home Mom and I live in the beautiful state of Colorado with my husband, two kids, dog and cat. I am an avid reader and read on average 2-3 books a week. I started my blog because I needed a place where I could talk about books and put down my thoughts on all things book related.

  1. BBC period dramas are the best!! Also, all good — there were a few of us late this week.
I can’t believe I FORGOT about Sally Thorne!! I live in the same city as her as well!! Although I would have struggled to choose between The Hating Game and Second First Impressions. I also loved The Wall of Winnipeg and Me, so it’s lovely to see it on someone’s list!! Hope you had fun this week 💕
