Top 5 Tuesday: July 6th

Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme created by Shanah @the Bionic Bookworm and is now being hosted by Meeghan @Meeghan Reads. This week’s topic is Top 5 hyped books I love. I went with books that I have seen hyped on social media like youtube and Instagram. These 5 books were all 5 stars for me and 3 of them I have read 2+ times.

Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia – Horror novel set in 1950’s Mexico that is about a girl who is trying to find out whats wrong with her cousin. The atmosphere is so creepy in this book and I loved every minute of it. I would also recommend the audio.

Get A Life Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert – Romance about a woman who is has a chronic illness and after having a near death experience she decides to liven up her life. She enlists the help of her buildings grumpy handyman. Very steamy read!

The Flatshare by Beth O’Leary – One of my favorite books! I loved the relationship building in this one so much, it is a slow burn with heavier topics.

The Hating Game by Sally Thorne – Hands down my favorite enemies to lovers romance and usually what I put others up against that I read. I love silent Joshua so much!

Anxious People by Fredrick Backman – This is the only book I have read by this author and I know it’s pretty different from his others. I loved the quirky-ness of this book and all the characters. I also really enjoyed the concept of a bank robber that doesn’t know what they are doing.

What are some of your most hyped up books that you loved?
