Hello Friends and Happy Friday! The Let’s Talk Bookish Meme is a weekly meme that is created and hosted by Rukky@EternityBooks and Dani@Literary Lion and todays topic is: Are Big TBRs a Result of Abibliophobia? (Suggested by Jillian @ Jillian the Bookish Butterfly). Abibliophobia is the fear of running out of reading material, and TBRs are lists of books you plan to read.
I personally have a huge TBR, I have an entire 6 shelf bookcase plus others lying around that are full of books I want to read. However, my huge TBR is not a result of Abibliphobia. Mine is a shopping compulsion in which I like to go to used book stores and buy books that I MIGHT read someday.
I keep my most wanted TBR books on a book cart next to me so I try to grab those first when I am reaching for my next book. I also have TBR’s on my kindle as that is where most of my arc’s go. At times I do think that my TBR has gotten out of hand but then I think, no it’s fine and continue on my used book hunts!
