I am excited to be starting my Top 5 Tuesday’s this week. I recently discovered them and am happy to join in. Top 5 Tuesday was created by Shanah at Bionic Book Worm, and now being hosted by Meeghan reads. This weeks Top 5 is Black and Orange, so here are some of my favorite covers that are black or orange.

Twilight by Stephanie Meyer – 4 Stars
I think I will always love the first Twilight cover, there is something so appealing to me with the simplicity of it. It has been many years since I read this but it will always hold a special place in my love of books.
If you are not familiar with this series, it follows Bella as she moves to Forks, Washington and meets Edward Cullen who seems to not be like the other kids in her new school.

Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick – 3 Stars
I read this book many years ago and I barely remember the plot of it but this cover has never left me.
This is your typical YA book about a girl who falls for the boy who seems slightly different. Instead of vampires we have angels.

The Bookish Life of Nina Hill by Abbi Waxman – 4 Stars
So this one is a bit of a stretch in that it’s a yellowy orange but I could not include this book ok this list. This was my first bu this author and I have read most of her books now and just love them all!
Nina Hill likes her life the way it is, she has her trivia team and her job at a bookstore, her planner and her cat. Suddenly everything changes when she learns she actually comes from a huge family she just found out about. Loved reading about her journey!

Tha Last Namsara by Kristen Ciccarelli – 4 Stars
This book was an actual cover buy for me. I saw this on my instagram feed and had to immediately buy it. The gold on the black and whit cover is just absolutely gorgeous.
Asha is the kingdom’s next Iskari, the child of blood and moonlight she is the death bringer. Asha is betrothed to man she detests and is offered the chance of freedom if she can kill the fiercest dragon in their kingdom. Setting out on a journey Asha soon discovers her life was not what she thought it was.

A Madness of Sunshine by Nalini Singh – 5 Stars
Nalini Singh has been an auto buy author for me for many years! I love her fantasy and her contemporary, so when I heard she was starting to write thrillers I was stoked! A Madness of Sunshine did not disappoint.
Anahera is back to her hometown in New Zealand after being gone for 8 years, leaving because of ghosts of her past. When a woman goes missing New Detective Will enlists the help of Anahera to discover whats going on. This was a great mystery with a gorgeous setting!
Until Next Time, Happy Reading
One of my favourite black covers is of Caraval. It truly is a beauty!
