January 26: Books to Read by the Fire

The holidays are over, but it’s still winter! What books do you feel are perfect to read during the season? What about genres? What wintry books do you have on your TBR?

This time of year I am looking for cozy or dark reads. Things set in cold dark places like Dead Silence, Winter People or One Dark Window. Te first six books below really give off a certain feel and sometimes that is just what I want when reading in gloomy January. The other times I am looking for something more comforting like the last three pictured. This year I have been re-reading Katherine Center books and really enjoying them!
