January 5: 2023 Reading Wrap-Up
I will try and do a designated wrap up but who knows if I will get to one so for now here is an overview of my 2023 reading year.
These were all my 5 Stars for 2023!

Books – 99, my goal was 100 and I got close so I am counting it as win especially if you take in all the books I started but never finished. I am keeping 2024 at 100 books again.
I also did ok on my Buzzfeed word challenge and will be doing that one again this year.
I really failed on my backlist and non-fiction goals. I read 6 out of the 30 backlist titles I wanted to read and only 1 of the 5 non-fictions I set for myself. I am keeping both of those the same this year as I noticed when compiling my 2023 sats that over 50% of my books were ARC’s and I decided to make those less of a priority this year and just really read what I am in the mood for. I think all the ARC’s I had every month that I wasn’t in the mood for really kept me in my reading slump because it felt like I wasn’t reading for enjoyment.
I am also adding the alphabet challenge and possibly the pop-sugar challenge this year to help with picking up books I might not have otherwise read but won’t be making these a huge priority.
How was your 2023 reading year?
There’s so many books on my TBR on this list! I loved Forget Me Not, and Georgie, All Along was my first 5 star read last year! I cannot wait to read Divine Rivals!!
